Las Guerreras defeated visiting team Necaxa and came out victorious with two second half goals by Ana Arvizu and Yahira Flores.
The women dominated possession throughout the match and found space in the area via Brenda Guevarra in the 18th minute, but her shot was saved by goalkeeper Wendy Gallardo.
U17 Mexico international Daniela Delgado executed a filtered pass with great power from the right side in the 36th minute, also detained by Gallardo.
Flores tried her first mid-distance shot in the 49th minute, sending the ball over the crossbar.
In the 66th minute, Regina Montoya took advantage of defensive error by the visitors and ended up in a one on one situation with Gallardo, but her grounded shot rolled just wide of the post.
After 73 minutes of persistence, las Guerreras got on the scoresheet via Arvizu, who sent the ball to the back of the net off a corner kick, finishing her shot from the penalty area.
Nine minutes later, Flores tried a shot from about 35 yards out and the ball sailed into the back of the net, good for her second goal in the 2018 Clausura.
With the win, head coach Jorge Macias' team reached nine points in the table and will host Atlas at Estadio in the second of the team's back to back home games.
