Club Santos Laguna and Club Chivas de Guadalajara have agreed on the definitive transfer of forward Ronaldo Cisneros.
The Torreon-native completed his full training process at Santos from the U15 category until reaching the first team, where he made his debut on October 24, 2014 against Pumas. Since then, he has been named leading scorer three times in his young career, most recently concluding the 2017 Apertura where he led the U20 division with 11 goals in 17 games.
With Mexico’s youth national teams, Cisneros has seen much success, winning best scorer and MVP, and was the recipient of the Golden Boot during CONCACAF U20 World Cup qualifying. He also participated in the U20 World Cup in South Korea, where he most notably sent El Tri through to the quarterfinals with a dramatic goal in the 89th minute against Senegal.
We appreciate his tireless dedication, his grand example, and the professionalism he consistently demonstrated while he wore our colors. We wish him the very best of luck in this next stage of his career.
