Santos Laguna will travel to Los Angeles, California in November for the next FIFA date, where los Guerreros will play against León in an international friendly.
Santos' last trip to southern California was in the beginning of 2016 when they played LA Galaxy in CONCACAF Champions League at Stub Hub Center, home to the LA Galaxy of Major League Soccer and as of 2017, the Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League (NFL).
In the last meeting between the two teams, Santos defeated Leon in Guanajuato for the first time, breaking a winless streak at Estadio Leon thanks to goals by Julio Furch and Diego de Buen.
The team will arrive the morning of November 10th and will enjoy an afternoon in the sunshine state with fans at an open training session that same evening. As with every international trip, the club will look for opportunities to be involved with the community, encompassing Santos' corporate motto of winning by serving is the only option.
The game will take place on Saturday, Nov. 11 at 8 p.m. CT. There will be a Fan Fest prior to the game outside the stadium starting at 2 p.m. with live music, food, entertainment, and sponsor activities.
